I read all the negative feedback for this hotel and I do agree, this hotel was pretty dire. Very tired decor, rooms were less than "basic" and I almost did not bother using the shower as it was so dirty and unsavoury. I actually found a bottle of milkshake that somebody had left on the bathroom shelf! Would not like... more

This building should no longer trade as a hotel but re-open as a 70's museum, as once you enter the hotel rooms it's as if you've gone back in time 35 years. Everything about the rooms are old, the furniture, the carpets, the bathroom, the light fittings, the wallpaper...not changed in over 30 years. Some things aren't acceptable, such as... more

Although the hotel could do with a makeover, the staff were polite and friendly. Rooms ok, again looking in need of some updateing but they do the job for the price you pay which is quite reasonable. more

Comfy stay.

Stayed for one night bed, breakfast and evening meal and was most satisfied. Whilst the furnishings are a little "tired" the hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and very polite and pleasant. The food was extremely tasty and breakfast was mega. The hotel is situated in a lovely spot with views over the Humber Bridge.... more

The hotel is ready for a make over but we feel we must give credit where it is due. We stayed for three days, dinner, bed and breakfast, and were made most welcome. The staff were most caring, polite and efficient. Our room was clean, warm, quiet and very comfortable. There is excellent parking, easy access to major roads and... more

I would strongly urge you to not stay in this hotel! The whole place is old and shabby and in serious need of renovation. The kettle in my room looked like it was made in 1960's and leaked around the plug and the trouser press was falling off the wall. Breakfast (which isn't included in the room price) was a... more

This has to be the worst hotel in the world - Rooms have not changed in 30 years +, a warning sign in the shower you read while been scalded, carpets , pillows that people threw out 10 years ago and seem to be retrieved from the landfill. It awful ! - the lockers at each side of the bed... more

We came to stay at this hotel, reffered by the local travelodge, which we had booked but which was so dirty we asked to be placed elsewhere, they assured us the rooms were cleaned and ready, when we arrived outside it wasn't a great impression, but we went in hoping it would improve, but hope was a bit optimistic ,... more
