We stayed here for 2 nights in the double room with ensuite shower. It was a peaceful location, clean and had everything we needed. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and Wendy was very welcoming. The room was spacious with a cupboard for clothes etc. The bathroom was compact - the sink in the bathroom is only a cloakroom sink rather than full size. Would recommend for walkers as it is a beautiful area of the countryside close to the pennine way. We visited Hadrians wall which was only an hour away.
