Very pleasant, spacious ensuite room. Good facilities. Good service. Very recommendable for an overnight stay while hiking the Pennine Way. Packed lunch could have been better, but I must admit I did only ask for this the night of arrival and not while booking.

Just had a relaxing stay on the quiet side of Cumbria. The price was reasonable with the winter discount. Welcoming and food were good. Would recommend.

Very well placed in Dufton, ideal for walking. For a 4 star B & B this is not up to the same standard as many others of the same rating. Although adequate, areas such the welcome and a make over for the room are desirable.

Room was comfortable but on arrival there was no loo roll in bathroom and no milk for the tea making facilities which we had to ask for. The breakfast was average but probably the worst aspect was the service which was not at all welcoming and not attentive. Location is good for the Pennine way.

Welcome almost non existent. Room floor dirty and obviously not cleaned after previous occupant.Bedding suspect, en suite floor dirty. Dining room adequate with good breakfast

We stayed here for 2 nights in the double room with ensuite shower. It was a peaceful location, clean and had everything we needed.
