First visit to Douneside and we were impressed. It's in a wonderful location within easy reach of other places to visit, set amongst beautiful countryside and everyone there made us feel most welcome. Warm welcome, friendly staff, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, topped off by good food and excellent service. Difficult to ask for much more when away with friends for a few days break. Been before, and look forward to going again.

The family had a lovely Easter break at Douneside despite record breaking cold weather. Lots of snow around but none on the roads, just fantastic views all around and the perfect excuse to stay in enjoying the wonderful hospitality.
