I stayed here recently with a group of friends to attend a wedding at the hotel. We booked a twin but were given a spacious family room, which had views out to three sides, and was clean and comfortable. Staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Hotel was well located enabling us to walk easily to the lake, restaurants etc.

Stayed for 3 nights in May and very pleased.Just a 5 minute walk from Bowness and the lakeside. Lovely room with a view of the lake through the trees. Beautifully kept hotel in a prime position with beautiful grounds and views to the lake. Our room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The hotel was very clean and the staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to return in future.

Stayed three nights from 24 May 2013. Did the job for us. Well situated as a 5 minute walk will take you into town.
