Stayed for 2 nights with kids, 13 and 10. Family room was ideal, with double sofa bed for kids on a separate level above the main room via a few stairs,
Found all of the staff very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the bar area was a lovely place to unwind. Leisure facilities were great...

Had a 2 night DBB at the burnside, the hotel is clean and tidy and in a great location to explore windemere and the lakes. I had a reasonable welcome from the reception staff when we arrived and everything was explained quite clearly.

We decided to visit the Burnside Hotel for a long weekend for my husbands birthday. We were offered a good deal on a suite but it still cost £100 per night so we had high expectations! Unfortunately we were very disappointed, the decor was dated and the bed was uncomfortable. On looking around our disappointment increased as we saw many...

We stayed as part of a deal that included bed breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal. I think sometimes with these deals, in any hotels, it can be very disapointing. But this wasnt the case. Firstly the Hotel is within walking distance of the lake, and the shops, and a few pubs which is ideal. The rooms are spacious and...
