We stayed at the Hydro in April. The location is pretty good, overlooking Bowness but thats all it has going for it really. The decor was very shabby and badly in need of a refurb. It also smelled in places too (ie musty/damp). The breakfast was stodgy and horrible. We'd stay in Bowness again, but not at the Hydro. more
