Reading the owners response to one of the reviews regarding the breakfast sittings, on arrival we were not informed breakfasts were in sittings but our plates were cleared away while we were eating and we were asked to vacate the table as it was needed, which we did, only to find an hour later the table still had not been... more

The numerous laminated signs with their various rules should have warned us. I'm sure after our visit a new one - warning you not to come back from the local restaurants drunk will have been added. Admittedly we were a bit drunk when we got back at 23.45 on the Friday night - the end of a long week and... more

I was travelling with my sister and a friend so we stayed in the 'family' room which had a double and single bed. The room was very small and no ensuite. There was a toilet right accross the hall from the room but the bathroom was on the lower level. Overall the place was very cramped and didn't feel very... more

Room was extremely small with the smallest en-suite ever seen. Very small wardrobe with little space, drawers were broken. Bed came within six inches of other wall, thats how small the room was, partner and i had to manouvere round the bed in turn!!. breakfast was disappointing and not worth the extra paid!!. more

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this guesthouse for one night. We arrived earlier than the 4pm check-in and the owner had kindly prepared the room early for us so we were able to get straight in. Room was small but comfortable- we didn't really see why we'd require much more space. Small but clean en-suite. Having stayed in... more

This was our first time in a B&B. And if the experience is anything to go by, it will be the last too. The whole idea of booking a B&B was mine, as I wanted a 'home-away-from-home' since we were travelling with a toddler and wanted to avoid the hotels. And it turned out to be so unhomely that we... more

On first reading this review I thought you must have been writing about another guest house as never have I recieved comments about unclean bedding. I am very insulted by this as I pride myself on having a very clean house and receive comments about this. All bedding goes to the local laundry and I doubt if you thought you...

The accomodation was clean and the staff friendly and included a cooked breakfast. The room we stayed in was incredibly small with no chair, a mini wardrobe and the bed taking up most of the space. two of us were unable to move around the room together and was easier for one of us to be in the ensuite to... more

Please note that the website says the rooms are compact. The double en-suite you where in does have a chair. Yes, the wardrobe in that room is a tall boy size but any bigger it would make the room even smaller. I slept in every room and I am not the smallest of people, I had no trouble sharing the...

We can highly reccomend this establishment - the hospitality was excellent, the food was great and the room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. Walking distance from restaurants and shops - in a quiet street. Great value for money. Liz Daryl and Renee - Australia, more

We were a family of five staying over night in Windermere. We had two rooms on the top floor with a share bathroom on the floor below. One room had a double bed and a single whilst the other had two singles. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly. more
