Had 2 night stay using a voucher and paid a little more for the sea view..the sea was in view but half a mile away! Nice open aspect and a lot quieter than those hotels we have used in the town centre. 10 min drive out of Barrow and plenty of free parking. Breakfast was a good selection and hot... More

Taking advantage of a groupon voucher, we stayed here last weekend in order to travel around the lake district as it is within easy driving distance of all the lakes, (and obviously much cheaper) and was pleased with our decision to do so. Had everything we needed, clean, quiet, good beds, nice linen/towels/toiletries, good shower, and nice views across the... More

Stayed early April the weather was cold but sunny. The hotel was warm and very comfortable.best descibed as a traditional British country hotel. Sea view room is a must If you want a view.Could be quite expensive without a voucher. Ate both nights in the dining room. Really good food and not expensive.Wine was quite dear, but then we did drink... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I would like to say however we do only allocate certain rooms to the voucher companies and if you would like an upgraded room with king size beds and views across morcambe bay these are available to our customers. Thank you The management More

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel last weekend (14th March). It is in a lovely spot with spectular views across Morecambe Bay, and when it is clear you can even see Blackpool....... The room was lovely - nicely decorated, spacious, clean (ask for sea view rooms). The staff were lovely too and nothing was too much trouble.... More

Stayed here for the weekend to celebrate husbands birthday. The hotel is spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. The interior of the hotel was attractive( it is in keeping with the age of the building)and welcoming and staffed by a team of very helpful, friendly and efficient people. We upgraded to a front room overlooking the bay. Our room was... More

This was the second time we had visited this hotel and the stay equalled the great experience we enjoyed the first time. The evening meals are second to none - both quality and quantity. The breakfasts were lovely, the hotel is very pleasant and it is in a beautiful quiet setting a short drive out of Barrow in furness. All... More

We bought a voucher for Clarkes on TopTownDeals and had it not been for that I don't think we would have ever stumbled into Rampside! The staff are amazingly friendly and very helpful, the lady who was on front of house when we checked in was extremely polite and very accomodating. The room was well propprtioned, decorated very tastefully if... More
