I guess it all depends on your expectations. I expected a hotel and ended up in a pub with rooms. No reception, book in at the bar. Room was clean enough, but nowhere to hang clothes. I had a business meeting nearby and stayed there for three nights. I'm giving this one star as in the general scheme of the hotel world it's poor. I'm starting to think that in Barrow it's probably a 3 or 4 star option... Stayed here for 5 nights.The rooms were very clean the staff were very friendly especially the night porter eric who was always willing to go the extra mile and a credit to his employers . June the chef/owner performs wonders in the kichen and the evening meals were some of the best i have ever had. i would definatly recomend... more
