At the end of the day its a travelodge, so expectations weren't high. Its practical, clean and efficient. For us the location was great as our friends lived up the road but for those wanting to get into Barnstaple or other nearby towns and villages it may be a bit far out. more

The hotel is situated on the A39 a few miles outside of Barnstaple. Its in a good location if you are using it as a base to explore north Devon. Have read review from disabled carer and have to say surely she can understand their point of view re disabled rooms, first come first served. We found this to be one of the cleanest and best travelodges so far. Quiet and convenient. You have a Wimpy on site. A garage on site that sells all sorts of provisions and alcohol.... more
