Stayed here with work just overnight. The hotel is really central and next door to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is more than adequate with everything you can expect from premier inn. Parking is £7.70 for overnight. I would return, but maybe next time would make it a social visit as Durham seems such a lovely city.

stayed here with friends for 2 nights, great location 2 minutes from shopping bars and restaurants, staff all very pleasant and helpful, hotel spotless , car park next door. no complaints , and loved durham will make another visit very soon,

Arrived to a warm welcome from reception and the bar staff who gave us all the info needed for our stay. Room was lovely, very comfortable and clean, loved the blackout curtains and how quiet it was inside the hotel. Perfect location for the centre, bars and restaurants and the cathedral. Great stay, will definatley return.

This is a centrally located hotel in the city near the train station (we walked from the station to the hotel). We stayed here again as usual when visiting family in Durham. Probably 5th time now. Great location in the centre of Durham, good friendly welcome, hearty breakfast -no complaints at all -very good value for the four of us certainly better than the Marriott!

Ideally placed for the city centre (1 minute to a great champagne bar) restaurants + all the shops & sights. Considering it's so central, enjoyed a peaceful night. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. As always at Premier Inn - fabulously comfy mattress
