The Georgian Town House is conveniently situated in the city centre, close to the railway station in a pleasant street. The proprietors also run the attached cafe. I was only staying for one night and to be honest I was pleased at that. I found the accomodation not quite what I expected from the website, in fact quite different. It is stated that tea and coffee making facilities are available in each room (de rigeur nowadays in all but the cheapest B&B) but my room overlooking the street on the front of the house had none. This double room was very cramped with a large projecting wall splitting it into two almost, with the ensuite and sleeping area separated by the corridor-like connection between the two halves. Note that the bathroom / toilet was not in a separate room, everything was in one - a very unusual arrangement. There was no lidded bin for sanitary towels etc., which I thought was a requirement?
