The hotel is the average, economy hotel. The rooms are spartan but clean. The staff seem fine but we didn't have much dealings with them. Dont listern to the bad reviews this is a lovely little hotel in Durham with views of the city.Me and my husband spent last weekend there 18th july when the river flooded and had no problems at all, if anything the staff and everyone we passed were really friendly.
