We stayed 4 nights at Low Urpeth farm. The room was comfortable with a very good shower. The free wifi (with good reception) was a bonus. The breakfast was very good (including fresh fruit salad) and the owners very helpful. Low Urpeth farm is the perfect location if you want to visit Beamish. And we discovered different other very nice... more

We arrived at Low Urpeth Farm on a very rainy day, and feeling a little low, but the welcome and tea we received on arrival soon warmed us up! We stayed in a beautiful room that was really comfortable. Worth a visit. more

We stayed in Low Urpeth for two nights in December 06 and had a lovely time. Its a bit out of the town of Chester le Street, I don't think you'd walk it, but the owner of the B&B actually drove us in one night himself! He arranged taxis for us the rest of our stay and was perfectly nice,... more
