Great place if you eat at 'The Mount' and want to be confined to the most uncomfortable bed throwing up in a out dated bathroom for two days. Kitchen staff heard shouting at night. Little road noise from the M6,

It does what it says on the tin. This review should be all about the hotel but many people will, like me, have a drink or a meal in the adjoining pub. The hotel is not the newest but is as usual comfortable and clean. On this visit, I found the staff not very friendly, apart from the lady at check in. On entering the room it was freezing & not as clean as on previous visits. We stayed here on a Wednesday and Thursday evening, so it was relatively quiet. The room and bathroom were clean and the layout similar to all Premier Inns. The TV (not that we really watched it) was quite a bit smaller than the usual ones in Premier Inns. Some have complained about the M6 traffic noise but it didn't bother... More

The food in the mount next door, including our breakfast was lovely. The hotel was clean and what you would expect from premier inn. Also, despite what others have written, we did not find any issue with noise from the M6.
