The Esplanade Hotel looks if has not redecorated inside or out for 30 plus years. Our room was a reasonable size but was rather dirty. Due to my personal circumstances, I booked to stay here alone over New year through Shearings coaches who own the hotel. The bedrooms have not had any work done on them for twenty years at least, the whole place is a disgrace! Stay here at your peril! more
