We found ourselves in Paignton due to father being unwell. Jayne & John made us feel very welcome, they were very attentive and the breakfast's were lush. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to friends and will definitely visit again !! Thank you

We stayed here after reading reviews on TA. Maybe we arrived on a bad day or we expect too much but it was decidedly ordinary . Room was at the top of the house-perfectly fine if a bit tight. En-suite was a shower and loo, whilst sink was outside in main room, as there was barely enough room to move... More

Food was great (breakfast and dinner) in good light dinning room and nice TV lounge where you can relax in comfortable chairs/sofas. Our room was a good size but the en-suite was rather small which made it a bit uncomfortable to use. Very close to shops and front so ideal if you don't want to use a car.

Popped down to the Adelphi for a Bank Holiday weekend break with 7 freinds and family and were totaly spoiled by John and Jayne, their freindly banter and bend over backwards attitude to make our return stay with them a pleasure and relaxing time. As for the breakfast, we all echo the remarks made by other visitors (you only have... More

Booked this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor. Great location, room very clean and comfy, and excellent food. Proprietors very helpful and friendly. 10 out of 10 for value for money. Parking can be a problem so hotel owner moved his own car so I could park on the forecourt - thanks! Downside - none with the hotel, but... More

My husband and I went to the Adelphi on spec for one night late in June. We were so impressed with the lovely clean and comfy room that we booked to return in August for our family holiday with out 2 teenage children. What a great decision. Fab breakfast, equally as good as I cook at home, good quality ingredients,... More
