I visit Sonachan House about 3-4 times EVERY YEAR. It is just like being at home - Tony & Julie always make you feel at home. Choice of breakfasts & evening meals (optional). Enjoy your evening in the bar with Tony. The hotel & rooms are clean with freeview TVs, radio alarm clocks to name afew, in all the rooms.... more

Have just returned from a weekend at the Sonachan House.The rooms are spotless as is every-where in this hotel.Tony and Julie Smythe are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay as smooth as possible.The hotel is about a 5 or 10 minute walk from Paignton town.I defy anyone to eat the breakfast and... more

As a result of illness we had to put off our stay at Sonachan House twice ! which must have caused the owners many problems, We therefore arrived full of trepidation.......no worry....the warmest of welcomes......tea and biscuits. The room was large ,spotlessly clean with every facility for a comfortable stay . Beware though, the full English breakfast is not for... more
