Would recommend this hotel to anyone, have just spend a wonderful weekend there. Its got something for everyone and is ideal for young and old. We stayed at the Redcliffe for a week with our young children. Our family room was excellent, one very large room divided into two so the kids had their own room but were still right next to us. A very British hotel of character and interest. An earlier owner of the building was Paris Singer, of sewing machine fame. The building resembles an Indian Fort, having been built by a retiring Indian Army officer in the 19th Century. Travelled with 3 children under 10. They are desperate to go back already. The staff were amazingly friendly so much so that I felt at ease in the restaurant and the swimming complex. The location of this hotel is fantastic it is literally on the beach, we were really lucky to have a sea view room with a balcony at no extra cost.
