Quiet Hotel with great service (thanks to Kerrie!). The whole Hotel was very comfortable with a great swimming pool and steam room. Service was great in the bar area from all the hotel people. I enjoyed the hotel the ambience and location and can't wait to go again. more

The hotel is beautiful and very smart but the staff are all very freindly and attentive - like you'd think it was a smaller place. Even walking down to breakfast, the chambermaids smiled and said hello as I went past. The place is fantastic in the summer, right on the edge of the Lough but it was beutiful even in... more

My wife and I stayed at the Culloden for their annual Halloween Ball and I can safely say that it was one of the best times that we have ever had at a hotel. From the staff to the room to the food to the surroundings, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We cannot wait to go back and I... more

I have just come back from spending 4 nights at the Culloden and was very impressed with the hotel. Although the hotel is just off a main road not far out from Belfast city once inside the gates you would think you were in the middle of the country. The areas surrounding the hotel are lovely and the hotel itself... more

This is our third visit to the Culloden and have to say that on each occasion it has definitely lived up to our expections. It is a magnificient hotel where you receive a warm and friendly welcome from very attentive staff from the moment you arrive through the door. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and very comfortable. We dined... more

Beautiful surroundings but service poor. Tried to get sandwiches served in the bar at night and it was impossible. The bar staff said that I had to go to my room to order food and when I tried this - only full hot meals were available - curry etc. I only wanted a plate of sanwiches! By the way, the... more

I spend many nights in Hotels on business and have to say this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in this year. The bed was really comfortable, very spacious room, pillows perfect, bathroom fab, food and service in restaurant just brilliant and service in the hotel altogether amongst the best I have experienced in recent years. Well... more

Fish & Chips can be just as enjoyable as a sirloin steak dinner - it all depends on the surroundings - and of course, how the meal is presented and served. One way to go 'five star' is at one of Northern Ireland's top hostelries the Culloden Hotel in Co Down. With special offers ahead of an expected busy festive... more

I have just returned from an excellent weekend in the Culloden Hotel. Excellent in very way. Only reason gave very good rather than excellent for service is that lunch was slow in coming. However, when it came, it was as usual of a very high standard. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to ensure exceptional service.... more

Just back from an overnight stay in the Culloden (worth checking website, great mid week deals). Had high expectations for a romantic break. Was not disappointed, stayed in suite which was roomy, clean and very private. Dinner was one of best meals we had ever had really really beautiful and great service we were treated brill. It was relaxed and... more
