Thorntonloch House as got to be the most well appointed B&B anywhere the rooms are of top class hotel standard. Thorntonloch house is a gem of a B&B, our room was clean and comfortable and the ensuite squeaky clean. Breakfast both days was very good, home made marmalade all those little things that make a stay special. Everything started great. It had a beautiful view right on the ocean, finished bathroom and a nice big bed. As we were getting ready for bed we started noticing spiders on the walls, ceilings and in the curtains. We stayed one night at Thorntonloch House with my parents, so had two rooms booked. Both rooms were decorated to an amazingly high standard, and in fact, the entire house was gorgeous. An excellent spot to stay just out of Dunbar, a large and well appointed room. One of the best full breakfasts we've had at a B&B. Highly Recommended. more

I just can say that our stay there was excelent! amazing! Wow! Definitely a secret gem. (Well, it seemed secret to us, as we had the entire house to ourselves, but the owners insisted it was busier during the week...).
