Visited the Orchardcroft with friends in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are clean, the staff helpful and knowledgeable about the island. My friends have young children and they were well looked after. They were happiest in the swimming pool or play area while I favoured the jacuzzi followed by a drink in the well stocked bar! I visited this hotel with my partner and our dog in early September, the staff are very friendly one of the main advantages of staying at this hotel is that it really benefits from being a family run hotel. We Stayed for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. The hotel staff were very helpful and made our stay a pleasure. Mealtimes were eagerly anticipated which means a lot when going out with teenagers. Always high quality and plenty of choice. Well done Orchard Croft . more

If you like packet soup, cremated yorkshire puddings, microwaved indian dishes then this is the hotel for you. this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. the people are friendly and helpfull but the food is disgusting. more

The vast number of reviews online and direct via the visitors book indicate a different experience. We are very often complemented on our food, which for a family run, two Star hotel is judged to be of a very high standard. We accept that it is impossible to meet everybody's requirements, but find the opening comment to be far and...

The Orchardcroft Hotel is a real gem. The best hotel on the island. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff.Will stay again. more

I always ask my Daughter where she wants to go and stay for our summer holiday,we have been coming to the Isle of Wight,and the Orchardcroft for the last 6years,so that says something for this well run family hotel. Great food,and a great pool and patio area,and we are always well looked after, so well recommended,for any type of break... more

Stayed on the garden isle for first time and really enjoyed the week. The family run Orchardcroft hotel was excellent and the hotel had so much to offer, it really made our holiday, staying in such a fantastic hotel, and such good value for money. We shall definately be going again. Sue Watford more

Visited the island with my partner. After booking the hotel they helped us book a ferry and we even got a discount. Having our car helped us explore the island, the hotel is a very friendly family run hotel and there was always someone willing to give advice on where to visit or what pub was good for lunch. We really enjoyed our stay at Orchardcroft, our two young boys were easy to keep amused, play room, lovely grounds, with chickens and lots of greenery, peaceful, lovely swimming pool, food was ample and it was a nice stroll into the old village and to the beach which we all loved as the weather was surprisingly warm for march!
