I stayed here as part of a naval reunion, half board, long weekend. As single traveller I opted for single room, mine was fine [6], altahough small & fairly basic, bed, shower, wardrobe small tv & desk it suited my needs The room I think must have been one of the refurbished ones, all was clean & tidy, but on... after reading the comments on here, i had to write the truth about my trip and this hotel.. from the moment we entered this hotel, we were treated so well.. the staff were polite, and proffesional, and very friendly. Our room was small yes, but very clean and considering the low price paid, we were more than happy. The food... More

Although in a good location for the beach and the old village, this hotel falls well short on most counts for the £105 per night rooms. The double rooms are dated and tired though mainly clean. They have very small ensuite bathrooms with either a shower or a bath but not both and will only accommodate one person at once.... More

This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed in and I really cannot understand the decent reviews of it on this site. Our room was filthy, urine stained carpet in the bathroom, dirty bed linen , ill fitting grubby furniture and an overwhelming musky smell enough to make me gag. The beds are well past their usable lives, the... More

Before I say more some of my colleagues informed me that their rooms were much better and i was told the hotel is upgrading room-by-room. Also the area does attract an older tourist with different tastes I'd suggest asking for a room carefully in that case as I was unlucky enough to get one (416) which smelled of damp dog... More

We paid £60 for room only per night and stayed 2 nights. Our 1st room was dated, basic, smelly, carpet in bathroom and noisy as you can hear everyone passing outside our door. Breakfast was £10 each, which we paid for, for the 1st morning - it was ok, but didn't quite seem enough. We were asked by management to... More

Booked a weekend stay at this hotel, having reviewed available hotels in this area & seen the photos prior to booking. Therefore basic but dated room fixtures expected, but room clean, tidy & view to sea a bonus. Better than expected, modern clean bathroom, shower working & controllable. Restaurant, large bright & of good standard, staff were friendly & helpful,... More

Dirty and run down. Went with Ulsterbus travel which usually stays in Quality Hotels...not this one. Dirty small rooms with ill fitting carpets (smelly urine carpet in Bathroom) I can't understand the good reviews of this Hotel on this site It certainly wasn't what I expected when I arrived. temporary ramps for wheel chairs, dated wall paper, painting by numbers...
