Mainly good service, could do with more staff e.g. bar & restaurant .Our room bit dated but comfortable only thing we will say is the room ( no.7 ) was over the piano so if you wanted to go to sleep before 11.30ish no chance ! Wonderful location right near lots of nice little shops and cafes and "the Chine"... more

My daughter and I have just returned from a four night stay at the Holliers Inn Shankelin. We found the location superb, the owners Steve and Dawn and their staff freindly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. The nightly entertainment is varied and so enjoyable even people staying at other local hotels dropped in. The atmostphere is warm, fun... more

I'll keep it short, the hotel was in the centre of the village, we were allocated a large confortable room on the top floor, with a view into the centre of the village, The room was clean, tidy and looked newly refurbished. Food was carvery, very nicely cooked, with no limits on how much you could have, similarly breakfast was... more

My husband and I have just returned from a few days staying at the Holliers Hotel which is in an excellent position. One could not fault the food,it was a carvery but a choice was available and Dawn and Steve our hosts, were very friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel. more

My husband and myself went on a four night coach holiday on the 14th to 18th of September 2009 to the Holliers Hotel. We had a large bedroom which was spotlessly clean, and we were very comfortable. The food was excellent. it consisted of a hot buffet meal at breakfast ie full english breakfast with the addition of cereals and... more

Went with my elderly mother for a break, we were promised an easy access room. Room was upstairs, no lift. dark & at the rear of the building. Tatty old furniture. Our coach driver had to carry all the cases for everyone from the bus up to the rooms. They had lost our room key & didn't have a spare!!... more

Myself and my husband have just come back from our honeymoon and stayed at The Holliers. It is set in the most beautiful old village of Shanklin and looks like something from a postcard! Steve and Dawn(the propieters) were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always happy and and catered for all... more

The hotel is in a excellent location. After travelling around the island, Shanklin definately seemed the nicest place to stay. We only had the breakfast, but it was quality food and a good choice. The service was excellent and very friendly. The rooms were very old fashioned (this was being worked on though), but the rest of the hotel was... more
