First impressions very good: a little hard to find but once there immediate help from Andy, the host, in carrying the luggage both into the Hotel and up to the room. The warmest of welcomes from the nicest of people.
Just a small point, but people not too sound in wind and limb should opt for the lower floor rooms, as it is a bit of a climb to the third floor especially.
The room ( a Twin Double) slightly on the small side, but well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Over-bath shower very nice. Digital Flat Screen Television in the room first class.
The Lounge/Dining Room very comfortable, and the food very acceptable: Excellent Kippers for Breakfast, or a very acceptable fry-up option. The evening meals both very good and well priced. No direct sea view, but the sea is no more than 200 yards from the door!
We unfortunately stayed towards the end of the season with the result that Andy was unable to maintain a sufficient turnover to be able to keep a draught...
