Nicely furbished and very large rooms, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff, filling breakfast with a good choice of items. Very good quality for the price. Of course this is a 3 star hotel, so no large entrance hall, there is only a small elevator and corridors are quite narrow, but the rooms are way better than many 4 star... more

All the reviews I read said pretty much the same thing and they were all true. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was cooked to order. Would recommend without hesitation. more

Stayed here with a couple of friends after reading the reviews on here and we certainly weren't disappointed, room was immaculate with tea making facilities and biscuits too (!) with a view overlooking the sea although we were on the 3rd floor so didn't get to see all that much of it. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Welbeck , I haven`t stayed in the hotel rooms , but have enjoyed a week in one of their appartments last year,, and two weeks this year , with my mother ,sister and young family .
