just spent 5 days in chesterhouse with shearings my 3rd trip and going again in april. hotel top class. food top class. all staff so helpful and been there a long time so must be happy in there jobs. which makes it a happy hotel. please try you wont be dissapointed. thank you all at chesterhouse hotel

Amber bar and restaurant closed. Full of coach parties. Guests booking independently not catered for. Staff sullen. Furniture and hotel interior shabby and uncomfortable. Broken items not fixed or replaced. Why have a television where you can't see it. Booked an executive room but dissappointed. No organisation at all in the running of the place.
