For the price all was really good.Room had full-length mirror, shower fine, comfy bed,no charge for our collie, breakfast well-cooked,big mugs to drink from.Alot better than hotel we stayed at next night near saltburn, that cost 50% more ,charged £10 for dog ,and deep-fried cheap breakfast. All we heard at Chedburgh was seagulls-no hen or stag dos'.Tell local council to make beach dog-friendly,and you'd get... Great value for money and dog friendly :) Spacious rooms with good facilities. Breakfast is fabulous and you always get a very warm welcome and are made to feel at home. They can't do enough for you. Highly recommend!

I spent a week at the chedburgh, had a absolute amazing time. Staff were very welcoming, hotel was very clean inside out. Room was cleaned everyday, the cleaner was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I was on the top floor and couldn't pick up the wifi signal, it was no problem as when I asked they... More

I stayed at the Chedburgh over the Great North Run week-end. This is the forth time I have stayed at the Chedburgh for the run, and plan to do so again. The hotel is very convenient for the Metro and the sea-front, and the accommodation is good and well priced. Louise is very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend.

A group of us stayed here in July 2012 after completing the Coast 2 Coast from Whitehaven in a day. Louise was really accommodating on the run up to the event as people joined up then dropped out, I was forever on the phone changing guest numbers!! The rooms were very tastefully decorated, the bathrooms very clean and loads of... More
