I booked a weekend at the Shangrila for my 50th birthday with a wide mix of ages. The accomodation was good along with the hearty breakfast. The proprietor Maggie Langton was most helpfull, with her knowledge of the area and made it home from home. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Shangrila to any family/friends. more
We were recomended to stay here after we had previously stayed in other b&b's on other trips to the Bay. i wish we had known about this place before. it was in a good location, very clean and nice. it was also reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent and the landlady made us feel very welcome! could'nt recomend it highly enough! more
14 of us stayed at Shangrilla in August. The place was always clean and tidy. The service was brilliant, and the owner was very friendly. I would recomend anyone to stay here, whether its a family or Stag/Hen party. A great time will be had by all. Cheers Maggie more
stayed at the shangrila friday and saturday 6/7 may 2005 great guest house owners are really really nice the rooms are great and the breakfast is excellent would highly recomend this guest house to any one, cheers maggie more
