This hotel is never a 4*!! Id say it scraped through a 2*! We stayed in a three bed room and initially thought it was ok then while unpacking, opened the wardrobe door to find a pair of jeans hanging in it!! The room hadnt been dusted, the taps hadnt been cleaned, there was what looked like blood splattered on... more

The entrance was shabby and smelled musty. We had booked a double room with sea view, On arrival we were told it had no en-suite and that our "private bathroom " was down the corridor. Later that day we found someone using the shower in our bathroom .When I did go to use the shower I couldn't turn it on... more

I found this hotel to be comfortable and nicely placed right on the seafront, with ample parking right outside. I was astounded to have a full sea view at no extra cost! The proprietor was concerned for me as a female travelling on business alone, which I appreciated. It was very important to her that I had had a nice... more

I appreciate my short business stays here. The quiet is a plus and the sea views are great. I do enjoy the breakfast, the comfort, and the services provided. I always look forward to returning again. more

The hotel was really fine, bit old and worn around the edges. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place itself was fine - just not as good as most other places we've stayed all around the UK. It's very much in keeping with the area, probably seen better days. more

It is the 1st hotel I have had to pay for on arrival, most likely because you wouldn’t stay if you didn’t. I was only booked in for 2 nights and had to live out of my suitcase as I didn't get the room I was booked into until the 2nd day. This replacement room had two enornormous chandeliers on... more

Been coming to this Hotel for many years now, changed management and the service and quality has if anything got better. Fantastic rooms, brilliant views, a substantial hearty breakfast, well looked after and always a relaxing place to come back and recuperate, will continue to frequent. more

I put a review on here earlier, but the place has changed ownership. The rooms are still Ok but the service is completely different. At breakfast we were never offered a cook breakfast, I think he just forgot us!! We waited but were ignored. It was noted by a hotel inspector who was at the next table. These people have... more
