Where do I start?....maybe at the most serious point.....the Fire Exit in the dining room was chained and padlocked from the inside which is illegal and deadly! I can't understand why so many are slating this hotel. We got brilliant value for money here as we travelled as a coach load. Clean and bright paint work and very tidy, yes the towels were changed daily and the staff even peeled the toilet roll so you didn't have to fiddle gettting the first bit started!!! apart from the waiters the staff did,nt seem bothered the towels were never changed ,you were regually overcharged for drinks which were usually flat and warm and over priced, your keys were left unattended on the desk anyone could have walked in and taken them.a big fat zero for this hotel. more

Marina Bay Hotel is ideally situated and the food was great, however, the service we recieved was not worth the 2 stars it had been given. The towels were not regulary changed, the bathroom light only worked when it wanted to, and, after talking to other people in the hotel it was clear they were just as dissapointed as us.... more

An otherwise lovely holiday spoiled by a poor hotel. The bar was shut by 10.30pm every night, and those that were still up were made to feel uncomfortable by the proprietor who went around dimming the lights and padlocking the bar. Personally I feel that this hotel needs to remember that they are in the service industry. I felt that we had to comply with their rules and regulations. We won't be going again. more
