We stayed at the Silverfjord for 3 nights on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there a short time before us. It is a lovely little hotel with fantastic food and a great environment in the lounge bar, which was busy every night with groups coming in for dinner and drinks.

The location of the hotel is great for exploring the Cairngorms area.

David and Gillian were great hosts, and the rest of the staff were excellent too, and we both enjoyed our time there. The quality of the food was excellent. The only negative issue was I could not get access to the WiFi network, which wasn't the greatest of hardships!

The bedroom was fine, with a large comfortable bed and a modern bathroom.

Other than the WiFi issue we did not have one negative issue on the stay and we had a great time. I am sure we will be back soon. Thoroughly recommended it. more
