Great room but wet room for wheelchair access was unexpected. Excellent food in a superb garden room. To say there is a bar is a bit misleading but there is a nice lounge available. Homemade bread is superb.

I bought my parents a two night break at Columba House Hotel as a gift. They had a wonderful time and found the accommodation, food, drink and friendly service absolutely superb. They have enjoyed themselves so much that they have booked another night at the Hotel. Many thanks to all who work there from them and from me.

Good sized bedroom which was comfy and well equipped. The ensuite was a disabled access wet room which was functional but slightly difficult with a lowered sink etc. We used a Groupon voucher which included wine and a tasting menu. The evening dinner (6 course taster) was superb and served in a quaint, if not slightly dated, dining room. There... More

We stayed for two nights with unusually cold weather for late March. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The main hotel and restaurant is cosy and attractive with a lovely garden although I was disappointed not to see any bird feeders. The food was very tasty. We had the 6 course taster menu on the first night and a la... More

We stayed at the Columba House Hotel during the first week in March 2013. We had a really enjoyable stay. Myra was very welcoming, and our room was spacious with a sofa and very comfortable bed, and more importantly in Scotland , the radiators could be adjusted to suit for warmth. There was a large ensuite bathroom with good size... More

Lovely hotel set in a secluded part of Kingussie but within easy access to the A9. Myra and Bill are great hosts and nothing seems too much for them. The accommodation is very good but best of all is the food. Lovely evening meals cooked to perfection - thank you! Best breakfast in Scotland too!! I hope to return again... More

I got up in the morning and thought weather looks good (snow) for a weekend up in the Highlands. So I tried to find something nice and affordable to stay just over the weekend and I found this lovely B&B in Kingussi. It is usually not our price category as do not have so much money to spend, but this... More
