Just back from a wonderful stay at The Star hotel in Kingussie. We stayed for a 5 night break in Sept. and cannot find fault. We were welcomed by the owner, and shown to our room. Have just returned from a very enjoyable 5 day stay at the Star Hotel. All staff very helpful. Rooms very old fashioned but have just had a facelift and are very clean with tea/coffee making facilities. My partner and i (early 20s) went here in july 07 for a weekend. I enjoyed staying here - traditional scottish hotel. only thing i would say is rooms quite small. Food lovely and a good base for touring. more
