The owners are remarkably friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The bed was comfortable. This is probably why i did not complain at all about some features which were considerably sub par even for this price. To be honest, I almost turned around and left. Water pressure was close to nil and so showering was not pleasant. The toilet took several tries to flush each time. Separate hot & cold taps made for tricky washing. The room was so cramped i could not put a suitcase on the floor to open it. The decor was so tatty as to be borderline acceptable. However, the location right next to the coastpath was what was wanted, although the hike down to town and back up is not for the unfit. more
