This Hotel is about 100 years old, it is a nice hotel, good food, food not messed about with much. Bedroom's OK, but when it was windy the windows rattled, this was in every room, listening to the people on the coach. The main problem of this Hotel is the entertainment, the compare had a speeech problem, 33 became fwirty... more

Have just returned from the Dilkusa Grand Hotel and we were very pleased with our trip in spite of the horrible weather. We travelled with Shearings on an all inclusive break. All the staff were very cheerful and helpful particularly in the dining room where all the waiters were very efficient. The entertainment at night was first class especially Samantha... more

This hotel is nowhere near as tired as some Shearings Hotels. It is clean and the staff excellent. The reception, ballroom/bar and dining room and clean and modern. Ok the lift has a sliding metal gate, but most important, it works. The food is all right and hot. Our bedroom had a badly fitted shower tray. Looked like a Friday... more

Having stayed at more than one Shearings hotel I can declare this to be one of the best. Yes, internally it needs a coat of paint in places, and it's not 5-star (but you know that when you book), but it's a delight to stay here. The staff are friendly and everything runs like clockwork. The food is better than... more

Mike the compare was brilliant he endevoured to make everybody happy which 99.9% of the time he did. The entertainment was excellent and got better as the... more

Here's is my review of the Dikhusa Grand Hotel after just returning from a long weekend there. It is based on a 3 night all inclusive break costing £140.00 per person. Like most Shearings holidays, they are predominantly attended by the more senior holiday maker, so being someone a little younger in years I have taken this into account and... more

this hotel is typical of Shearing Hotels, cheap and cheerful. it is dated but certainly looks as though they have made some attempt to improve facilities. bedrooms clean bathroom shower ok, though shower door leaked, staff sorted this as soon as I reported it. Entertainment was typical for Shearings the main host was full of himself but nothing new there... more

Myself and my husband stayed at the Dilkhusa Hotel as part of a Shearings coach holiday to Ifracombe. This was the first time we had done this type of holiday and were quite open in our expectations. We booked the hotel as a late deal through the Shearings website and paid around half of the brochure price (hence the title... more
