I stayed at the Orchard for just one night, with my brother and brother-in-law after a soggy days motorcycling through devon and cornwall. The welcome we received from Ginny was as warm as the beautiful home she opens to the public. Our wet gear was whisked away to dry on the Aga, and we immediately knew we'd fallen on our feet when we entered the glorious and luxurious lounge area that they should surely keep for themselves with hot tea in hand, and settled down to relax. The rooms were all beautifully furnished and serviced with en-suites and private bathrooms. We were directed to the local and very friendly pub for a fantastic meal and timed to perfection, an evening of entertainment from a group of local musicians with flutes and mandolins. There really was nothing to fault our stay except that we only booked for one night. I'll be returning and next time i'll take my wife. This is no 'biker friendly' B&B for lack or finesse, and the full english and continental breakfast... more
