This hotel, gardens, bay, and surrounding village, where absolutley delightful. The room was clean, pleasant and cosy, and the meals were first class. The views over the sea/bay were to die for. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would go back again and again. more

On behalf of the Newent Ramblers Walkers we would like to Thank Matthew Bailey and his team for making our stay very pleasurable. The Accommodation was very good and the staff very helpful, the food lovely to. The walks around Lee bay were excellent and every one had a great weekend. Thank you once again and hope every thing goes... more

We stayed in Lee Bay Hotel with a coach tour (for four days). We are a family of four with two teenage boys. Admittedly we were blessed with excellent weather but can vouch that Lee Bay is a great place for a peaceful break. The location is stunning, the gardens beautiful - when we arrived the views took our breath... more

My visit to the Lee Bay Inn left a very bitter taste in my mouth, and is the worst hotel experience I have had. Me and my girlfriend arrived at 7:30pm after a 3hr drive looking forward to a bite to eat, a stroll round the local area and an early night. However on our arrival we were first greeted... more

We had our wedding at Lee bay in September this year I can not stress enough how fantastic the staff were especially the gentleman who organised the whole day and kept everything running smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing, everything was beautiful. The food was great and lots of it! The member of the reception staff... more

We have just returned from a really enjoyable break at the Lee Bay. We had read all the reviews but knew the area and decided, with very low expectations, to take a chance. And we are so glad we did. Yes the decor is tired but much more late 80's than early 60's. Our large family room was spacious, comfortable... more

I'm still not sure whether the staff at this hotel are playing an elaborate joke on their residents or are perhaps members of a society devoted to the meticulous re-creation of an English seaside hotel circa. 1973 (as run by escapees from the local lunatic asylum). As a case in point, on ordering a bottle of wine at the bar,... more

My wife and I went to the Lee Bay Hotel to attend a wedding of my niece. We booked in the night before, and we extremely happy with the room it was very old décor but comfortable, looks very 60s. The meal in the bistro was to die for! A lot better than I expected. All fresh produce and plenty... more

The hotel was along a country lane. The location was really lovely but the hotel was seriously outdated. The room looked like it was stuck in a time warp, the towels looked old I was dubious about using the bathroom, and the room had some dead woodlouse in the corner - I am glad I only noticed them as we... more

Though situated in beautiful grounds the hotel was very disappointing , we had a balcolny room which I can only describe as dingy, the bathroom was no better with a cracked sink and and useless shower, the balcony was littered with old cigarette butts and general litter and the plastic chairs were dirty. Thinking it could not get worse we... more
