My girlfriend and I first stayed with Julienne and Peter at the Dorchester last year, when we made a last minute booking in order to scope out Tunnels Beaches as our potential wedding venue. And we enjoyed the experience so much that the first thing we did after booking Tunnels Beaches for our wedding (which was last Saturday) was to... More

all the little thoughtful gestures made our stay at the Dorchester home from home. a flask of fresh milk in the fridge kicked off the homey then a fully stocked fridge with soft drinks, beer and wine. a choice of tea and coffee ,hot chocolate and Horlicks went to improve the homey feel. and then you found the crisps and... Stayed here for 3 nights whilst we went to a wedding at The Tunnels Beach. Julienne the owner was lovely, really welcoming, warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was a double room with en suite. It was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. The fridge was handy in the room as... More

Me, my mother and two sisters got a very warm personal welcome at the Dorchester. We stayed there 4nights in spotless rooms. Everything so clean and comfortable. The room had a fridge with various drinks and of course fresh milk every day! The breakfast was delicious, homemade marmelade to die for. Everything was great, price, host, rooms, overall we had... Really enjoyed staying here. Came up alongside a work trip with my boyfriend and the room is really comfortable, with a well-stocked and reasonably priced minibar. Breakfast was brilliant and I took advantage of the toasted sandwich offer in the evening, as we didn't go out for dinner. Great price and great hosts.

This is a fantastic b and b. Stylish, beautifully decorated, very welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, had a fridge with fresh milk and really reasonably priced wines etc, so welcome after a long days travel! The bed was so comfortable, a nice sofa in room and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was totally delicious, expecially toast and homemade marmalade, yummy! Only... More

We've just finished a 14-night trip along the entire South coast and up the Bristol Channel coast to Minehead. This was the best place we stayed at. Julienne introduced herself by name and immediately made us feel welcome. Our room was immaculately clean. We had a fridge in the room with fresh milk - a nice touch. Complementary bottles of... Stayed at the Dorchester for my birthday weekend away and it was fantastic. Julienne was very welcoming and friendly. Whole place was spotlessly clean, bed very comfy and spacious on sweet. Well stock mini bar and nice hospitality tray with fresh milk. Definitely all the little touches that makes the Dorchester better than any B&B we've stayed in before. Breakfast... More
