We took our kids (8 and 5 at the time) to Ibiza and on our return they asked 'but when are we going back to Lydstep' - we all love the place - beautiful clean beach (some shingle), rock pools full of crabs, fantastic headland walks to secluded coves, in the mains school hols entertainment every night but never a problem getting a seat and the kids (now 10 and 7) are safe to play with new friends in the small arcade and playground attached to the entertainment area. The indoor pool is never too busy with doors to a patio area that has a fabulous view over Caldey island. The majority of the caravans are privately owned but several of the owners rent them out and the park is beautifully maintained.
Out and about there is lots to do,. Tenby is like a little peace of cornwall with lots of individual shop and good places to eat as well as a great beach, there are daily trips to Caldey island (stepping back in time about 40 years), Saundersfoot and Manorbier are other seaside...
