Lovely building with a great location far enough from Tenby to be quiet but close enough to be convenient. Great views over the golf course to the sea, very friendly staff,restaurant food excellent and a good breakfast, loads of choice. It is fairly pricey, decor kept very old but very comfy, nice place to relax. more

My only problem with Penally Abbey is the price. We visited in June 08 and paid near on £300 for 2 nights in the St Deiniol’s Lodge. The room itself was very clean, chique and modern but small - no bath, just a small shower. For the price we paid, I was expecting something more luxurious. Excellent food and spacious rooms. If you are looking for a romantic setting I feel there is no better! The staff made us feel totally welcome - the waiter's in the restaurant are a real credit to the owners!! more
