This is a good hostel for a budget stay in Liverpool. At the moment, the guesthouse is being done up so there's no common or breakfast room for guests. Stayed here for two nights whilst in Liverpool for the Grand National. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night, but found Ellan Vannin guest house most welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and arrived at the time we stated. Bob was very helpful in giving us thorough directions to our coach station after our stay. Great hospitality over the weekend. We will most certainly come back. more
We didn't even stay it was that bad, we paid a deposit in good faith expecting the guest house to be clean and comfortable. It is hard to respond to this review in light of the many untruths but we will do our best. Firstly, we regard our guesthouse as being very comfortable, clean and good value for money.
