I thought the rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything I wanted/needed. I particurlarly liked the 'emergency kit' provided. The breakfasts were great. The Auberge were we ate in the evening served fabulous food. All in all I had a wonderful stay, the only problem was that my stay wasn't long enough ! more

Nothing is too much trouble for Tracey & Steve at this wonderful hotel, from the lovely styling of the hotel to the help with choosing restaurants, they even made the reservations for us before we arrived! There are some great places to eat, we highly recommend Auberge, The Cloisters & Mamma Mia's. Steve's breakfasts are lovely. The rooms are comfortable,... more

This is not what you would expect from a B & B. Came for a weekend with my daughter, cant reccomend it enough. The interior is even better than in the pictures. Tracy and Steve cannot do enough to help you. The breakfast is not your usual greasy fry up, and you just have to try the pancakes with maple... more

We stayed at the Ambassador Townhouse for 2 nights. The decor of the whole place was amazing and absolutely immaculate. Our room was on the second floor- very comfortable and so quiet. Loved the attention to detail - huge towels, good quality shower gel, shampoo and moisteriser in decent sized containers and not those tiny sample ones so often found... more

If you want a place to stay, do not, I repeat, do not look anywhere else but the Ambassador. You will look anyway and you will book with a place hoping that it's going to be nice and of good standard. You will tell your friends and relatives "yes, it was ok", but you would not really recommend it. So... more

Steve and Tracey have created a sophisticated and relaxed environment where visitors receive a warm welcome, fantastic food and THE most gorgeous surroundings. Their knowledge of the local amenities, restaurants, attractions and more importantly for the ladies the `SHOPPING` makes for a perfect visit to Southport. You will not want for anything on your visit to the Ambassador - they... more

My wife and I stayed at The Ambassador for a total of 13 nights over a period of about a month, staying in four different rooms. All the rooms were spotlessly clean, individually decorated and very comfortable. Breakfasts were great with much variety, well prepared and set in a lovely room. Tracy and Steve have obviously tried very hard to... more
