We stayed for our wedding night, didn't say when we booked. When they found out they went out of their way, even leaving a card and a bottle of bubbly in our room for when we came back. Excellent friendly service, would whole-heartedly recommend. more
We were met on arrival, after a long journey ,with a much needed cup of tea. Our room was adequate but very basic. The service at breakfast was excellent but it would have been nice to be served with 'butchers sausages' and not cheap 'plastic' ones. A group of us stayed here and found that John & Sue were really friendly and great hosts. The room were very clean and comfortable, the showers were good and never had any problem getting hot water like you sometimes do in somke places. We stayed for one night, booked at the last minute. The hotel is clean and homely. We stayed in a family room with our 3 kids. Warm welcome , friendly atmosphere , great food , clean room , nothing was too much trouble for John and Sue to make me feel at home. I wouild reccomend this hotel to anyone. more
