Having not been to Southport before thought it would be a nice base to visit Liverpool, Blackpool and surrounding area. After a very long journey with lots of roadworks on the way, it was very nice to receive such a friendly and warm welcome from the owners Shirley and John. Like i said above not knowing the area they were quick to recommend some great restaurants in the area when we arrived and also recommended some nice places to visit in the area such as Formby Point to see the squirells and Crosby Beach Anthony Gormleys Another Place (statues appearing to walk out to the sea)

The breakfasts are absolutly fantastic and such a great choice is available, however i can whole heartedly recommend the full english it always tastes lovely and sets you up for the rest of the day.

My room was lovely and comfortable it was like a home from home, the rooms are cleaned daily and the beds are made in such a way you think you are staying in a posh hotel that costs lots more. more
