Welcome o.k. Beige carpets up to and in bedroom dirty. Shower and bin broken in bathroom. No bedside lamp. No lock on door to bedroom - where there had been one the hole was filled with cotton wool!!!!!! Towels left for guests need replacing - very old and well used. Cleaning materials left out in bathroom. On the positive side... more
We stayed here as we were visiting friends who lived nearby.Very friendly family run Guest House.The room was very spacious and homely and lots of tea coffee milk etc provided.We always take our own as there is normally not enough available but didnt need to use any.Lovely views over the local stables at the back - providing you like open... more
We stayed here as we went to see the Antony Gormley figures on Crosby beach and then the Klimt exhibition. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the stables. We stayed here due to its proximity to the red squirrel reserve at Formby, for which it is really convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable with a reasonable bathroom, and the house is strictly non-smoking. In the evening we ate at Zenzero which was very good but not particularly cheap.
