We stayed for three nights and it was fine. Nothing special, bit like Fawlty Towers, but rooms warm and comfy, if a litle like staying at your Nan's. More

Decided last minute late on Xmas eve that I didn’t want to make the 6 hour drive home on Xmas day after family celebrations and so had a look on laterooms.com. I wanted cheap and cheerful and Balmoral Lodge looked the part after reading a few reviews and so booked. I found free parking at the front of the property... More

Perfect for the lone traveller as the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel when I stayed there was very quiet - due to considerate guests rather than it being empty, I think. I would stay again. More

I stayed here in June 2011 for 1 night, then returned 2 nights later. I was on business and needed some accomodation for these nights as they were not covered by my employer. Anyway, the first night I think I was given an executive room and found it to be lovely, very clean and spacious. I didn't think much of... More
