Carmel and Clive are great people who cannot do enough to help make your stay special. The breakfast is great, the location is convienient only a few steps from the local pub where you can get a great meal and a few drinks. We arrived and were greeted by Carmel who made us a very welcome pot of tea and a few biscuits.We had booked a family room for our Daughter her husband and their two sons and a twin room for ourselves. We visited the area for a wedding and staying at the Cumberland House was a delightful experience. i booked to stay here in april this year..unfortunatley for my family and myself my father-in-law had a heart attack and we had to cancell...because it was 4 days before we went we were too late to cancell....maybe he should have booked his heart attack 3 weeks earlier...what im saying is...if you book make sure your family are all in... more
