My husband and i have never done b/b before our holiday so this was a treat.,We werent dissappointed , a lovely house we found it all very clean, the lovely rooms well presented. a excellent breakfast at a time to suit you.Very friendly couple nothing was to much trouble. This is an ideal b and b for a cheap start to a flight from Gatwick with the added advantage of free overnight parking for holidays. Well located with cheap (£1) shuttle bus service. We arrived backin the evening to Gatwick, transport is sorted for you, in the form of a discounted bus service dropsyou right outside the door - trouble free..... One of the things that drew me to Glenalmond were comments about the welcoming nature of the guest house's proprietors. Booked through interent directly with Glenalmond Guest House. Some or most hotels or Bed and Breakfast had a YOU LOOSE refund policy for no show or cancellation. We just needed a place to stay overnight before our flight back to the States, and happened to pick this one. Not only was it very clean and comfortable, but the added bonus was Frank Austin, a retired policeman who could also be a comedian. He kept us in coffee and delicious hot breakfast as well as in belly laughs.... more

Excellent! We have used this B&B a number of times now before flying out of Gatwick, and would not hesitate to recommend it. The rooms are very clean & tidy, with modern en-suite amenities, and a superb breakfast. Value for money is good, and parking very reasonable, with a drop-off and collection service on offer also. Friendly proprietors. Recommended. more
